CLINICAL CASES MODULE

You are required to obtain a pass grade for a minimum of 3 completed implant cases for Module 3 of the PGCert qualification.

 

All treatment stages of your 3 cases need to be treated either under the direct supervision of a Course Tutor of The Implant Institute (Course Tutor), or an Accredited Local Mentor.

 

You can choose either of the following options for your 3 cases: -

1.  Bring your own patients to one of our Course Tutors' practices in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Townsville. The Course Tutor will charge your patient a reduced treatment fee (25% discount on standard fees) to act as an incentive for your patient.  There is no further cost to you for this option.

2.  Treat your own patients under the supervision of a local colleague, who will act as your Accredited Local Mentor.  A Local Mentor can be a colleague near you who is suitably experienced in dental implantology. You can nominate your own Local Mentor, to be approved for accreditation by the Director of the Implant Institute.  If using this option you are responsible for any mentoring fees charged by your Local Mentor.*

* Your course fees do not provide for any subsidising of the patient's fee if you choose the Local Mentor option.

You will treat your own patients.  The course does not provide patients.  

 

You have up to 2 years to complete Module 3.

You must reach a pass grade in Modules 1 & 2 before you can progress to the Clinical Cases Module.
